About Faith Fortress
Faith Fortress Ministries has grown out of a concern regarding the all-out assault on truth in our contemporary world and the related need for American Christians to become more grounded and mature in the faith. As one looks around today it is easy to see the growing chaos in our society that is the result of the decades old cultural barrage against the truth-claims of Jesus and the institutions of the church. As Faith Fortress founder, Eddie Vines, served as a District Judge in Alabama he became increasingly concerned about the erosion of values in our society as well as the negative influence American popular culture is having on the world. A chance encounter with a telemarketer in 2006(Eddie being called by Achui Shimray) has led Faith Fortress to establish a ministry presence among the Naga Tribes of Northeast India. Whereas Americans once exported the gospel to unreached peoples such as the Nagas, we now send them Hollywood and Hip Hop and the unfortunate result is the moral breakdown of such people groups. With workshops, training, personal discipleship, evangelism, and much prayer, Faith Fortress seeks to engage reach the world for Jesus and strengthen the existing church, one believer at a time.

Eddie Vines
Eddie is a former District Judge and holds a Master's Degree in Christian Apologetics from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Lisa and has two grown daughters, Noelle and Faith.

Carlos Perez
Carlos is a Deacon at Grace Life Baptist Church in McCalla Alabama and is married to Gayle. He has two wonderful daughters, Hannah and Grace and two granchildren.

Billy Parsons
Billy is a Certified Public Accountant and has devoted much time in years past to supporting and counseling individuals who struggle with substance abuse.

Noelle McKinney
Noelle holds a Master's Degree in School counseling and currently works as a substance abuse counselor. She and her husband Jonathan are active members of Riverchase Baptist Church

Ed Huggins
Ed Huggins is a retired power company engineer currently residing with his wife of 57 years on the outskirts of Hueytown , Alabama. Ed came to faith in Christ as a youth, and has strived to be a faithful Christ follower ever since. He has a great love for the Word of God and for proclaiming its message of salvation to every creature under heaven! “Salvation by Grace – service from a thankful heart!”

Monica's love for the Lord comes thru in her willingness for service. Monica speaks multiple languages and has a background in teaching, logistics, and business. Her greatest love is her Savior, followed by her husband and 3 children. She seeks to apply her talents toward strengthening the body of Christ.
